The Apartment
The incredibly spacious apartment has a large private porch, open plan kitchen and living area, double bedroom, bathroom with bath and shower, and garden. It is air-conditioned and has a DVD player, Hi-fi system and iPod docking station. The apartment has a double bed in the bedroom and two sofa beds in the lounge, providing flexible sleeping options for families or groups.
The large garden, with sea views, is a sun worshiper’s paradise. All-day sunshine is completed with a glorious sunset, the perfect setting for dining al-fresco after a relaxing day. The garden is accessible through patio doors from both the bedroom and the lounge, allowing you to enjoy the outdoors from the moment you wake and all through the day.
The Armonia Resort
The development boasts a wealth of facilities including a large swimming pool with loungers and parasols, childrens pool and play area, gym, sauna and underground parking. The swimming pool boasts views of the sea and the old town of Famagusta in the distance.
The Location
The apartment is situated in one of the most sought-out regions on the island. Enjoy the family tourist resorts of Kapparis and Protaras; go clubbing in the party capital of Agia Napa; or have a romantic meal in the atmospheric old town of Paralimni. Kapparis and Paralimni are each a 20 minute stroll from the apartment.
Kapparis has a wide range of contemporary and traditional bars and restaurants to suit every need. There are also a range of supermarkets and shops. Protaras is less than 3 miles and Agia Napa around 6 miles away. Both are linked to Kapparis and Paralimni by a very comfortable and regular bus service. There are a number of beautiful beaches including Fireman’s Bay, Malama Beach with a range of watersports and Ayia Triada with a small fishing harbour overlooked by a charming church.
The apartment is in a peaceful location, so we would recommend hiring a car if you are not happy walking to reach the amenities in Kapparis and Paralimni. Hiring a car is also a great way to explore the whole region, or even head further afield to the stunning coastline at Cape Greco, the fascinating capital of Nicosia or the beautiful Troodos Mountains.
Booking cheap flights
To get the cheapest possible flights to Cyprus, it is a huge help to book online. The best way of doing this is as follows:
• Go to http://www.skyscanner.net
• Select departure from ‘all UK airports’
• Select destination to ‘Larnaca’
• On ‘depart’, select the month you would like to depart on the calendar. Select ‘whole month’.
• On ‘return’, select the month you would like to return on the calendar. Select ‘whole month’.
• Select number of people to travel.
• The search results will show you the cheapest return flights for each airport, including estimated tax.
• Simply click on any airport which may be suitable for you, and you will be shown prices on all dates throughout your selected month.
Airport Transfers
The apartment is approximately 35 miles from Larnaca Airport. As mentioned previously, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your holiday, which you can book to collect from Larnaca airport then drive to the apartment.
If you are not hiring a car, the best option is to book transfers through us when you book the apartment. We have negotiated reduced rates of €40 each way for up to 4 people. This will be payable locally.
Car Hire
The roads in Cyprus are fantastic (generally) and they drive on the left, which always helps!! We will supply very detailed and easy to follow directions to the apartment if this is the option you wish to take.
