Protaras Apartments At Armonia Resort - Luxury Apartments Kapparis, Cyprus

The Troodos area of Cyprus is a fantastic place and up to 10 degrees cooler than the rest of the island.

Remarkably many Cypriots (and ex pats) never go there. Some Cypriots have told me they went 25 years ago with school but haven't been since! I suspect many holidaymakers never make it to Troodos either. Until recently I had never been either.

There are numerous cruises available from Cyprus to the pyramids in Egypt, The Holy Land and Greek Islands etc. I really enjoyed my last cruise around the Med some years ago and decided I would try the mini cruise to Egypt. A Cypriot friend of mine made the arrangements at less than 50% of the list price.



Local coach pick up Monday morning at 10am, few hours collecting guests in Kapparis, Penera, Ayia Napa ...

Not everybody wants to sit and sunbathe for two whole weeks during their holidays and in the middle of summer even the most ardent sun lover would be burnt to a crisp if they did.

Many of the apartments at Armonia have DVD players, Playstations and Satellite TV etc but you could do that back home.

Cyprus checkpoint 'will open' soon

BREAKING NEWS 24.JUN.09
The opening of the Limnitis checkpoint will probably be announced tomorrow during a brief visit by President of the European Commission Jose Manuel Barroso.

Last week the UN’s Special Representative in Cyprus, Taye Brook Zerihoun, confirmed that the two leaders told him after their last meeting that “they are close to an agreement on Limnitis”.
